You could be someone who loves to go sailing. Can’t find anyone else to accompany you on your seafaring journey? Maybe you want to learn something new, like Salsa dancing? How do you get in touch with other people who also want to learn Salsa? Maybe you have a really niche interest, like Naturism. It can be really difficult to meet other people in the same community. This is an issue that we have all faced in our lives. Oftentimes, not having someone by your side can dissuade and discourage you from pursuing that activity altogether! Life is short, we must try to do what we want to, and with the people we want to.
For this purpose, we created a curated list of over 100 interests to choose from in our app, FriendZone. Our list is varied and caters to everyone. All you have to do is look for the thing you are most interested in. Find it, select it, and voila! Now you are on a boat with your new best mate, enjoying the high seas.
We have interests divided into various categories. This makes it easy for you to find and pick the things you are interested in. For example, you like to watch movies, all you need to do is click on the ‘Watch Movies’ icon. This will open a list of interests related to watch movies. This includes everything from Horror to Bollywood and many more.
Once selected, you can go back and select all the other interests that pique your curiosity. Take your time, make sure you have picked all the things you are interested in, because our algorithm will use that list to match you with your next best friend!
You can also look for a particular interest. For example, you may be searching for someone who can play the guitar. All you need to do is select the filter in the ‘Find New Friends’ page and select the particular interest. You will now have a list of people who are also interested in that particular thing.
With FriendZone, our aim was to find a way to meet new and interesting people, and not just randomly, but people with whom you actually have something in common. To be able to find someone who has the same weird list of interests as you is truly a beautiful thing and we hope to make it a little easier.
